Texas Do It Yourself Divorce Kit - A Unique Program
Generally, to get a divorce in Texas, the spouse seeking
divorce must have been a resident in Texas for at least six
months and lived in the county where s/he seeks a divorce
for at least 90 days.

However, a person from another state or foreign country may
file for a divorce in Texas if the estranged spouse has lived in
Texas for six months (the county residency requirement does
not apply).

If you do not meet these residency requirements, you can not
participate in this program.
Click here if you don't meet
these residency requirements or if you can't answer "yes" to
all of the following questions:

1.        Do I know how to locate my spouse?

2.        Is it true that I don't want my spouse ordered to pay
my attorneys fees, temporary alimony (spousal support), or
child support while the divorce is pending?

3.        Is it true that neither me nor my spouse has already
filed for divorce?

4.        Is it true that there aren't any temporary orders,
protective orders, or temporary injunctions pending in any
court, including child custody or support?

5.        Is it true that if the wife had children during the
marriage, that the husband is the biological father of the
children?

6.        Is it true that neither me nor my spouse has any
history of family violence?

7.        Is it true that neither me nor my spouse is pregrant?

8.        Will my spouse waive all of his/her rights to contest
the terms of the divorce?

9.        Will my spouse and I both agree to the terms and sign
the Final Decree of Divorce which will divide ALL of the
marital assets, ALL of the marital debt and provide for child
custody and support in an equitable manner?

10.        Do I understand that I must appear before a judge to
finalize the divorce?

11.        Do I understand that Gregory T. Josefsberg will
prepare the documents according to the information that I
provide and will not do any research and/or investigation?

12.        Do I understand that I must pay for all court and
filing fees associated with my divorce?

13.      Do I understand that this program does NOT entitle
me or my spouse to any of the following:  attorney-client
